Arkiv for juli 2011

A while back I told you that I was searching for the perfect pink nailpolish. I FOUND IT! It’s from Essie and it’s called Mod Square. Bought it at Target for $8 :D I didn’t manage to get a good picture of it (the lighting in here is terrible), but I’ll try to get better pictures tomorrow.

Tomorrow we’re going to Sea World! Oh my God, I’m so excited :D

Details from today’s outfit. Tried to get better pictures of my new watch (which I’m totally in love with). Henry is my new boyfriend. You can’t see the whole outfit, but I’m wearing my new shorts and top that I bought yesterday. The shorts are from Papaya and the top is from Cotton On. Love the color on my top!

Forgot to take pictures so I only got a picture of the food court, haha.

Today we went to an outlet mall. Before we left I tolf myself that I wan’t allowed to buy anything, but I came home with a new pair of flats.. Shocker. I regret not buying the Gucci flats I found in Fort Lauderdale. They were just perfect! But today I found a pair that looks just (okay, kinda) like them for just $42 at Aldo.

What do you think?

Finally! I found the watch at Macy’s today and I’m already in love with it.

Although I really like America, there are a couple of things that really annoy me.

– The tap water tastes awful and you have to drink water from a bottle everytime you want something to drink.

– Although the Americans are known for their unhealthy foods they know nothing about candy. (What’s up with that?).

– All the grocery stores also sell makeup, hairproducts etc. (Okay, I actually love this, but it’s bad for my credit card!!). They also sell books, DVDs.. Like yesterday, my mom and I went to Target and I ended up spending $90 on makeup and DVDs.

– It’s cheaper to buy a cheeseburger at McDonald’s than strawberries at the grocery store.

– You have to drive everywhere. The only places we’ve been to that we didn’t have to use the car are New York and San Francisco.

Beautiful!

So we arrived in Savannah yesterday afternoon and since we’re only staying here for a couple of days we didn’t want to waste any time. That’s why we decided to check out downtown Savannah. That was fine with me considering both Marc by Marc Jacobs and Urban Outfitters was there. I was so excited about going to the MBMJ-store, but that turned out to be a huge disappointment. First of all, the guy working there barely said «Hi» when we walked in and looked like he was so bored he could fall asleep, and second they didn’t have the bag OR the watch! What’s up with bad luck lately? Okay, I did finally find the Levi’s shorts I was looking for at Urban Outfitters, though.. and they were only $30!

Downtown was a bit confusing. I really though Broughton Street (that’s where you find Urban Outfitters and MBMJ) was a good place to shop, but they didn’t have that many stores at all except Banana Republic and a couple of vintage stores. After we walked to River Street (waterfront) to find a place to eat. I think that has to be the strangest place I’ve ever been. All the restaurants looked like old factories and I felt like I was stuck in the 18th century or something. Strangest feeling. Then we decided downtown Savannah was not for us and we drove back to our hotel and later we had dinner at Olive Garden, haha.

Hi guys! Just dropping by to say that I’m in Savannah. Forgot to bring my camera today but I’ll try to post some pictures tomorrow instead. Now I’m really tired so I’ll tell you more about my day later. Wow, most boring blog post ever.

I totally forgot to show you these shorts I bought last week at Macy’s. Still haven’t decided if I like them or not. I love the print and everything. I just don’t know if I like them on, haha. What do you think? Yay or nay?

I’m undecided about a lot of things lately, but I’ll tell you more about that later. Let’s just say there might be a change of plans for next year, but like I said – more about that later. One thing I am sure about, though, is that we’re going up to Savannah, Georgia today and I really need to finish packing. See ya!
